2. The advantage of high-density PP fiber is its light weight. With a density of only 0.91g/cm ³, it is one of the lightest varieties among common chemical fibers. Therefore, PP fibers of the same weight can achieve a higher coverage area than other fibers.

3. Polypropylene staple fibers with high elongation feature high strength, large elongation, high initial modulus and good elasticity. So polypropylene is wear-resistant. In addition, the wet strength of polypropylene is basically equal to its dry strength, making it an ideal material for making fishing nets and cables.

4. Hygroscopic, dyeable, lightweight and good heat preservation; It hardly absorbs moisture, but its core has a strong moisture absorption capacity, and the effect of moisture absorption and sweating is obvious. Polypropylene has very low hygroscopicity, almost no hygroscopicity, and its moisture absorption rate under normal atmospheric conditions is close to zero. However, it has a core suction force that can transport water vapor through the fabric but will not absorb any of its own water vapor. The Pp staining is poor and the chromatography is incomplete, but the deficiency can be compensated for by liquid staining.

5. Acid and Alkali resistant pp has excellent chemical corrosion resistance. Except for concentrated nitric acid and concentrated caustic soda, pp has good acid and alkali resistance, making it suitable for use as a filter material and packaging material.

6. Lightfastness and other polypropylene staple fibers have poor lightfastness, poor thermal stability, and are prone to aging and ironing. However, adding anti-aging agents during the spinning process can enhance the anti-aging performance of the fibers. In addition, polypropylene has good electrical insulation properties, but it is prone to generating static electricity during processing. Due to the low thermal conductivity of polypropylene, it has good heat preservation properties.

7. The strength of high-strength polypropylene filament is second only to that of polyamide, but its price is only one third of that of polyamide. The fabric made has stable dimensions, good wear resistance and elasticity, and excellent chemical stability. However, it has poor thermal stability, is resistant to sunlight exposure, and is prone to aging and brittle damage. Therefore, anti-aging agents are often added to polypropylene.
